What can you do with your old cell phone? Recycle it …. AND make a difference!
Please consider donating any no-longer used phones and accessories to UHopeLine. Cell phones can be in any condition and from any wireless service provider.
You can drop off your old cell phone and accessories at the Health & Fitness Expo on or on Race Day at the finish line.
Donation bins will be located in the Start and Finish line areas on Race Day, as well as at a booth during the Expo!
The UHopeLine program serves a dual purpose of protecting the environment and supporting survivors of violence against women. Proceeds from UHopeLine are used to provide wireless phones and cash grants to local shelters and non-profit organizations that focus on domestic and dating violence prevention and awareness. Phones that can be refurbished are provided to survivors of domestic violence for reuse and those without value are recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound way.
