
You must be able to complete the 1/2 Marathon within 3.5 hours of the Official ½ Marathon Start (gun time, not chip time).
Please note – this is gun time, not chip time. We have factored in the time it will take for the last corrals to cross the start line. Please plan your training accordingly.
Runners need to maintain a 17 min/ mile pace and that those not reaching the mile marks below may be redirected at those points to keep them in line with our necessary timeline:
6.5 miles by 1 hour, 50 minutes
9.25 miles by 2 hours, 37 minutes
9.5 miles by 2 hours, 41 minutes
11.75 miles by 3 hours, 20 minutes
Those runners who decide to remain with the original course need to be aware that the course will be open to traffic at this time and that runners after these times will need to observe all traffic laws. Course directional signage may be taken down after these times and water stops will begin to be broken down, thus water may not be available.
